Three Friends. One Blowout. One Big Idea.

Origin

Like many great ideas, it started around a conversation.

Three friends — engineers, composites specialists, and lifelong outdoor enthusiasts — shared a passion for adventure. Weekends were spent exploring backroads, camping under the stars, and traveling with their families in RVs. Then one family trip changed everything.

The Incident

The Blowout That Started It All

During a vacation, one of the founders, Dan, experienced every RV owner's nightmare: a tire blowout at highway speed.

The tire didn't just fail — it tore into the underside of the trailer, damaging electrical wiring and critical components. What should have been a relaxing family adventure quickly became a stressful and expensive ordeal.

Thankfully, the trip wasn't completely ruined. But it left Dan with an important question: Why are RVs so vulnerable to tire blowout damage?

When he shared photos of the damage with his friends, the conversation quickly expanded beyond a single incident. The more RV owners they spoke with, the more surprising the answer became.

Blowouts weren't rare. Nearly everyone had experienced one themselves — or knew someone who had.

The Discovery

Discovering a Problem Nobody Was Solving

The three friends began investigating how RV manufacturers were protecting the underside of their vehicles. What they found surprised them.

Many RVs had little protection against the tremendous force created when a tire fails. Electrical systems, plumbing, flooring, insulation, and structural components were often exposed to damage from flying tire debris.

As engineers, they saw a problem. As RV owners, they saw an opportunity. There had to be a better solution.

The Material

Bringing Advanced Composites to the RV World

For years, the founders had worked with advanced composite materials used in demanding industrial applications. They knew that modern composites could provide exceptional impact resistance while remaining lightweight and durable.

After extensive research, the team identified a material with remarkable performance characteristics: Curv® self-reinforced polypropylene composite.

Unlike heavy metal solutions, this advanced composite offered an exceptional combination of:

The Build

From Concept to Protection

The founders spent countless hours designing, testing, refining, and validating their ideas. Prototype after prototype was developed. Systems were installed on real RVs. Designs were improved based on real-world feedback.

The goal wasn't simply to create another accessory. The goal was to create the protection they wished Dan had before his blowout happened.

That effort led to patents and the development of a new protection platform.
